Caramel Syrup from Scratch

Ingredients

1 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Water
3/4 Cup Cream
2 Tbsp Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla

Instructions

Add 1 Cup Sugar and 1/3 Cup Water into pan
Heat on high until boiling, do NOT stir
Continue to boil until mixture is amber in color
Remove from heat and add 3/4 cup cream and 2 Tbsp Butter
Stir continually for about 3-5 minutes until mixture is smooth
Transfer into jars and store in refrigerator
